TAMWORTH – The Barnstormers Auction on Sept. 1 was a success thanks to auctioneer George Cleveland, auction chair Karel Hayes, event sponsor Paul Dumont of Kokopelli, board member Marion Cohen Cleveland and the many volunteers.
“When I’m in a city, I carry every theatre guide and attend many performances. I still prefer The Barnstormers to Broadway. Broadway’s plays usually appeal to the tourists. Barnstormers provides real theatre. It’s fabulous and it’s a great way to support New Hampshire, Carroll County, Tamworth and The Barnstormers,” said auction sponsor Kokopelli’s Paul Dumont.
Nearly 100 people attended the event after it had been postponed due to Hurricane Irene. The Barnstormers, America’s longest running professional summer theatre, thanks everyone for their support both at the auction and during the season.
